RIP Frank Frazetta
I was caught a little unawares by this, and must admit until a couple of weeks ago I did not even know that the legendary artist Frank Frazetta passed away in May of this year.
Frazetta originally became known with his work on comic books of all genres, from western to super hero to comedic animal, but was probably best known as one of the most outstanding exponents of fantasy art, his work gaining aclaim through some breathtaking covert art.
He later ventured into oil on canvas and truly made his mark, painting some incredible, moody works.
My boy Baoks and I are working on a tribute piece, so stay tuned for that very soon. In the meantime here is a few pics of his inspirational work.
